Data Deletion Instructions for LinkShelfAI

You can delete your account data at any time. LinkShelfAI stores data in two places — follow the steps below for each.

Local App Data

Automatic

Uninstall the app

All locally stored data — links, folders, and profile info — is permanently deleted when you uninstall LinkShelfAI from your device. No additional steps needed.

Google Drive Backup Data

Manual — 3 steps

Delete hidden app data from Google Drive

If you used the backup feature, a private backup file is stored in your Google Drive App Data folder. Delete it by following these steps:

Open Google Drive on your phone or browser.

Tap the Settings (gear icon) → Manage apps.

Find LinkShelfAI → tap Delete hidden app data → confirm.

This folder is private and accessible only by you. The developer cannot view or access your backup data.
Signing out of the app or uninstalling it does not delete this backup file. You must delete it from Google Drive using the steps above.

Advertising Data

Manual — device setting

Reset or delete your Advertising ID

LinkShelfAI shows ads through Google AdMob. Your Advertising ID is stored on your device by Google, not by us — we never receive or keep it, so uninstalling the app does not remove it.

Open Android Settings → Google → Ads.

Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

While the app is still installed, you can also change or withdraw your ad consent from the privacy icon on the main screen, or Profile → Ad privacy settings.

What Gets Deleted

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Make sure to export any data you want to keep before proceeding.
  • ✕ All saved links and folders (local storage)
  • ✕ Google profile info stored locally (name, email, photo)
  • ✕ Backup file in Google Drive App Data folder
