Link Shelf AI ("the App") is a personal link organizer that lets you save, categorize, and manage links on your mobile device. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Data You Provide Directly

3.2 Data Collected via Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the following from Google:

Google Sign-In is optional. The App functions fully without signing in. Signing in unlocks the Google Drive backup feature.

3.3 Data Stored for Backup (Optional)

If you enable Google Drive backup, we store a single backup file (linkshelf_backup.json) in your Google Drive App Data folder. This folder is:

• Private to Link Shelf AI — no other app or person can access it
• Not visible in your regular Google Drive file list
• Accessible only through your Google account

The backup file contains your folders and links data.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage telemetry.
• We do not track your browsing activity or the content of the links you save.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not run any server of our own — there is no backend database for your personal data.

5. How We Use Your Data

All personal data is stored on your device using encrypted local storage. We do not transmit your data to any server we operate.

6. Third-Party Services

Link Shelf AI integrates with the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In

Used for optional authentication.

Used to store and retrieve your backup file in your own Drive App Data folder.

Google AdMob

Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use the Advertising ID to serve relevant ads.

These services are governed by Google's privacy policies. We only request the minimum necessary permissions (profile info, App Data folder access, and Advertising ID for ads).

7. Data Retention

• Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or manually delete folders/links.
• Google Drive backup remains in your Drive App Data folder until you sign out of the app or manually delete it from Google Drive settings.
• On sign-out, locally cached Google profile data is removed from the device.

8. Data Security

• Local data is stored using encrypted storage backed by the Android Keystore / iOS Keychain.
• Communication with Google Drive uses HTTPS and OAuth 2.0.
• We do not store your Google credentials — authentication is handled entirely by Google's SDK.

9. Children's Privacy

Link Shelf AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at pritimoy54@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — view the data stored in the app at any time within the app itself.
• Delete — delete any link, folder, or your entire local data by uninstalling the app.
• Revoke Google access — go to your Google Account settings (myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps) and revoke Link Shelf AI's access at any time.
• Delete Drive backup — go to your Google Drive settings → Manage apps → Link Shelf AI → Delete hidden app data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

No permissions for camera, microphone, contacts, location, or SMS are used.
